Investment style strategies can be created in-house or outsourced to third parties, allowing overlay managers to create composite models. Model Maintenance Solutions for Asset Managers
MMS also has the ability to create weight-based models, including equal-weighted, market-weighted, share-based and composite models. Depending on investment guidelines, investment management practices or user preference, constituent weighting options can be automated or adjusted manually.
Models can be imported into MMS or published to Investment Management SolutionSM (IMS) from Fiserv in real time, offering API model imports and exports to a third-party or legacy system.
Version Control and Model History
MMS provides powerful administrative and version control tools, allowing users to track changes and maintain model history. Model locking features are provided to ensure quality and limit editing to one user at a time. Users are assigned different permission levels to view, change or update models, which provide additional levels of security and quality control. Auditing and tracking are also available throughout MMS.
MMS uses an open architecture for easy integration with existing legacy systems and connectivity to an unlimited number of platforms. The application is offered as a professionally managed service (ASP) in facilities that are SAS 70 Type II compliant and is available with disaster recovery and high-availability service options.
